Glen Plake and Dave Watson

Dave met up with legendary skier Glen Plake to climb and ski Mt Hood recently.  Glen and his wife Kimberly are currently on their "Down Home Tour".  They drive a fully decked out RV around the country and visit ski areas, shred with the locals and have a great time.  Glen spends most of his winters in Chamonix climbing and skiing rad lines.  He is really fit, super fun and a very cool guy.

Two Winters in the Valley

The name Two Winters in the Valley refers to the time Brian Newman spent in the valley of Kashmir.  Brian has been working as an avalanche forecaster for many resorts worldwide, Snowbasin Utah, Treblecone NZ and Gulmarg, Kashmir.  Brian's dedication to shaping the snow safety program in Kashmir has been remarkable.  While consulting the Indian government on how to run a safe and responsible ski area, Brian has managed to supervise the local ski patrollers and bring their avalanche rescue skills to an international standard.
